Towards A Broader Consensus on Population and Development: A Media Oriented Advocacy Campaign

This project helped create a greater awareness of the population and development (popdev) issues that PCPD supports, make popdev concerns more understood, accepted, and mainstreamed in public discussions among the general public.

The project delivered the following: (a) 12 issues of POPDEV Media Service or  a packet of 6 news and feature articles on popdev for the print and broadcast media and the internet; (b) an in-depth article or extensive opinion essay on a specific popdev topic; and (c) special press releases, feature articles, letters to the editor, TV or radio guestings, arrangement of TV program discussions on pressing issues.

Four issues of the POPDEV Media Service have been released.
