Improving Youth and Adolsecents' Knowledge, Attitude, Behavior and Skills (KABS) on General and Sexual Health and Reproductive Health of Community Youth in Barangays

This project will disseminate the findings of the Phase 1 baseline study on “Public Students’ Knowledge, Attitudes, and Behaviors (KAB), Values, Skills and Needs Related to Their Health and Development, Muntinlupa City” to the various participating schools in Muntinlupa , the LGU and various line agencies and stakeholders in youth development.  Inspired by the results of this research, this project will also undertake specific interventions that include: the promotion of youth health information and services together with adolescent reproductive health using a youth center as the venue for sharing information; capacity building of teachers, students as peer educators, and program and policy makers; integrating the popdeved modules developed by the University of San Carlos in the curriculum of the participating schools and university; reaching out to OSY in Muntinlupa through peer learning activities on health; and connecting with and influencing the LGU officials of four barangays so that they will develop programs and allocate funds to respond to OSY needs.
